Very nice! My only gripe these days is finding ammo at a reasonable price to be able to get to the range to shoot. Even 9mm ammo is through the roof, crazy expensive.

There are a lot of online sites that Arnt as thinned out as the local stores or people at swap meets .
I sold a lot of ammo at swap meets due to the high demand . In 3 months you will be able to pick it all back up again |

I hear ya. The price at the local gun shows is through the roof. I used to be able to get 9mm ammo for my H&K for $180 a brick (1000 rounds). The last gun show it was $385. Screw that. A brick of .45ACP was $550+, again, when they had it.

You're more optimistic than I am. I'm thinking late summer before it gets back in stock and prices get back to normal.

Any of you guys use slickguns.com? I check that multiple times a day, you can find good deals for ammo every once and a while.
Edit: Would appreciate help in appraisal.

I got into reloading. Even now it's still cost saving loading my own. Only thing that is getting a little scarce are primers and some bullets depending on the caliber. Seen a few 1k bulk pack of 9mm last month sell for 898 plus shipping D:

I agree supporting locally is the way to go, except for ammo. Ammo is the only thing I use slick guns for and sometimes the knife deals. |

primers are almost non existent online unless you like feeling violated for them. midway had some CCI last night but they sold out in under 10 minutes. Picked up 2x 1lb each of H335, H110 and Varget today local to hold me over till I can source some 8lb jugs for 5.56 and 300BLK.... finding Noslter 125grn tips for the 300blk has been a huge pain. I am just glad I have 3x 8lb jugs of Unique to satisfy my hoard of 45ACP guns.

I no longer do, due to getting rid of most everything I had. But I used generic diamond sharpening stone with Norton oil. |

Hooray for heading back home...for a whopping 2 weeks.
Was in Atlanta, Houston and MN in January for 24 days...
Been in Atlanta again for 7...
In March I'll be in Phoenix, Sacramento, Dallas, and Vegas back to back to back to back
Sucky travel schedule for 1st quarter 2013.
Although on the plus side I did get like a $25,000 raise this year, so I guess I can't complain.

That's a helluva lot of travel. I used to do that 6 or 7 years ago. It's fun for a while but then it gets to you.
