Depends what you mean by hottest. Best selling is going to go based on price. Most admired will go by pro sponsorship and performance. Ego fans will pump the ego. BL fans will pump the Vcom. Old schoolers who have followed the J4 torque may pick it up in smaller numbers. The vanquish, impulse, and clone will be popular picks but sell in lower numbers than eteks and axes simply due to price.

Axe will continue to be a strong seller! Price and performance. For high end I see the Vcom selling well because of the different engines. PE in general will sell because they are nearly bullet proof and just work! Best seller who knows?

JT is releasing a marker called the "JT Impulse." Not sure if it's going to be like the Smart Parts impulse though. I think the Planet Eclipse ego and VCOM will be the best seller for high ends. Mid end markers like the axe and etek will continue to sell well too.

I think ego 13 will get a bump in sales because they haven't made a new ego since ego 11. I am asuming it will have some new improvements that people will want.

After seeing pictures of the new JT impulse (old style Ego clone), and the new Ego LV something. I think both missed the mark. I like the VCOM and love the idea of dual engines. So this is an update to my prior post.

The Ego will be called the Ego LV1, Jt is making a impulse you can look at pictures on ansgear in the quick links part. I think the VCOM will be a good seller.

My thought (and this is pure speculation of course) is that Empire is releasing the Impulse under the JT brand so as not to draw attention away from the Vanquish.

You may be right, but the brand "JT" can't really support that yet IMO. I have heard JT is trying to rebuild it's image as a high-end company and a gun release just isn't the answer. It'd have made more sense to come in at around the $550 price and move from low end to mid grade before trying to jump to high end. The DP Rev i is another flop in a similar chain of events. Even invert would've made more sense to me. They're competing with the G6R, ego, new cyborg and other high ends with a gun that really doesn't compare (in terms of features).

I agree with you. I got the email flyer from ANSgear. I looked at first the Vanquish and then the Ego LV1 and I really liked them both. When I finally got to the JT Impulse, it seemed... fine. There was just nothing that exciting about it. If I was going to drop a grand and no more, I'd probably try to find a gently used $1500 gun... or even an ego 11 which you can find NIB for slightly cheaper at some stores.

To be honest this may be the best year for markers companies outside the big 3 (KEE, Planet, and Dye). Each have solid markers but their new markers and updated ones leave alot to be desired IMO. People looking for the next greatest thing could look to Luxe, MacDev, Machine, etc. This includes me. The one company I forgot to mention it Bob Long as I see their Vcom doing very well and as the only company to offer different milling (G6R) direct from the factory. This could be a very good year for BOB.

Planet eclipse guns generally sell very well consistently, so I'm thinking the new ego will be a top seller.
