EPL Pump Division, please? :)

For the pump format. What do you guys want to see with Divisions? We can offer ONE Division for pump. Should we limit it to D3 or lower?

Every league I've played pump in from Local to National pump is an open division (RITC, CFOA, NPPL, and PSP). I say NO go with an Open Division, the gun is the equalizer when its all said an done.

If you go by rank, the downfall is you will eliminate players in a already small division quickly. Playing pump is a skill level completely different from that of regular paintball. Most of the people playing pump are people that have done everything in paintball and are in it for fun (not everyone but some). They might be pro to D6 but all said and done your eliminating potential players/team from a division that is already limited on the number of people competiting in that division. For example by the end of the year 90% of my team would not be allowed to play if you went to D3 and Below and were talking about bringing two teams or at least hope to, to each event.

But all said and done, I'm just glad to see pump paintball expanding.

I would say open, for reasons that have already been mentioned. The pump scene is still in its relative infancy, in comparison to the other styles of play, limiting divisions for this would remove a portion of the base that is already smaller then the speedball scene.

/// I am unranked, with my last real tournament being in 2008 or 2009, and i would have no issue playing pump against significantly higher ranked players. (though i have practiced with D4/3/2 players for years)

I would suggest open since I know of highly ranked players that have no idea how to use a pump. If this does come off I will try to get at least one team in from Garden State Pump

Na. FPO. it would be nice. But its a different DIVISION not SERIES. We cant ask for all of the rules to be changed to accommodate us. plus i know independent of the series, PAP's (EPL Cup location) is FPO anyway.

No BYOP, EPO (Event Paint Only) or FPO (Field Paint Only). The series is accomdiating pump and this is how they make there money $$$.

I'm really posting here to keep an eye on this series to see what happens, but well said. Open is the way to go.

I recall the same thing, I believe it was supposed to be at the two day events, however prices, which day(s), info like that would be helpful.

Im just saying if they have prizes at epl cup like last year the 3 man was mini's in the D4 semi but if in open pump maybe empire snipers that would have some teams come out
