In fact we will be cleaning off the field for this weekend. It won't be done until we can get some help sat morning stripping the bunkers though... Any volunteers? Tom will need as much help as he can get being as I threw him a retirement party at Mardi Gras this year and we haven't seen the ct snow as of yet. Feel free to call the business line if you can help.

UMass will be there and some of the Hartford guys should be there helping to clean off the field. The more people , the faster we can clear it and get playing

This is incorrect... Actually the field did get cleaned off, however it took Tom quite a bit longer to do so due to the fact that Ryan was the only person who kept his word on coming to help. Sorry guys, this was a big project and without anyone willing to help us help you get a clean playing field, it took longer than expected.

I hope this clarifies this misunderstanding and we'll see you all next weekend. Oh and please remember to be slow and cautious on our road; it is narrow and hard to pass to begin with, the overabundance of snow only makes it slippery and harder to see around corners. Thanks guys!

I had went home to Maine to see family, I got a text to let me know that UMass crew didn't show due to an unfortunate ride situation and that practice was off. I was out of the loop slightly and only posted to clarify to any one else that was planing to play Sunday that the field would not be cleaned off.

I just want to add that I am very happy that Matt's has cleaned off the field and I look forward to playing this weekend.

I apologize I should have stated that the field did not not get fully cleared off on Saturday.

Snow was really heavy and shoveling a path to the pits and deicing the pits was a load of work on its own. I could t imagine doing the whole field. Props to the guys at matts

UMass was there today. There was a **** ton of snow and obviously we were going to be the only ones there. We didn't bother to start as it would take us forever. Looking forward to playing when the snows cleared and i miss the field <3 although we did go to providence and the guys were nice there . They did say that they owe u one for sending us there!

I think there was a misunderstanding about what assistance we were asking for... We only needed the bunkers moved off of the field so that Tom could get in there with the plow truck and do clean swipes. I apologize, I should have posted specifically what we were looking for.

What is the game plan for players this upcoming weekend, Feb 23 & 24? We are pondering over the idea of switching back to field 2... I'd like to know if we have enough time to do so over the next week or so...?
