WIll the VCOM engine work in a marq6-closer?

Will the new VCOM engine work with any marq like marq6-closers? After watching Bob Longs video he said it will work with his marqs. Does that mean i can put it in any marq when i get my new VCOM engine?

and no they won't make them for the gen1's either..so the only way to get em is buying a victory.

anyone else out there wondering if its possible though? Can the closer body and the vcom engine be modified enough for it to work?

No, the OD for the bolt systems are different sizes.

If you were to have a new bolt housing machined for the vcom.. then it probably would.

I think it would be very difficult if even possible at all. Not sure if the ports are all the same but I think the Victory is small than the prof eng. IMO it would not be worth the time or machining it would take to attempt. Just buy a V1 they are relatively cheap now and put the VCOM in it.

Its more of a curiosity thing than me wanting a new gun. I like projects and have access to some very nice metal milling machines. Id love to see both engines in person with a pair of calipers to really see how different/similar they are.

It would probably be easier getting the internal to work with the existing SC engine housing. Then having to make a new housing.

The Vic bolt OD is larger..
