I'm receiving a matrix with a Lucky board that has a tadao chip on it as well. The lucky boards settings allow for 10bps but the chip doesn't. I guess I am confused on how i would set the board. can i just take the chip off and put it in my gear bag and only use the lucky?

*had a couple matrix's back in the early 2000's don't remember much about them, i'll be posting in here more frequently with answers i'm sure i can find on pblegion

What?

The lucky board itself is just blank circuitry more or less, what governs the settings on it is the chip.
The chip you install on the board decides what features you get out of it, that's the beauty of lucky boards

So, unless the chip has the most recent bps updates, you need to send it to Tadao to have it flashed.

Gotcha, I've never used a lucky board before so i wasn't sure how to use it. I thought when i read the manual for the lucky board it did have features and thats what confused me.

There are different variations of the lucky board depending on the marker in question.

So disregard any lucky manual for settings and only ise the one for the chip.

They used dm4/5/c chips in them can't remember if its lbi or nonlbi, I think lbi
