Hi

What bore size should i use when shooting GI 1 star paint at training ?

I currently use a DM9 with a 692 , and im constantly breaking and chopping paint

Also any advise for settings , i play in cold weather

I had nothing but problems with 1 star in cold weather at the last tourney I went to. I suggest upping your dwell and slightly over boring.

What the hell tourney uses 1 star paint?... That's like practice paint, or in the case of everyone around here who uses 2 star that's worse than practice paint.

I think your problem lies in your paint and not your barrel.

If you have to use that paint, try upping your dwell a few clicks and lowering your LPR. Unless GI 1 star is absolutely ****ing huge (like north of .700) your barrel is not causing the problems.

Other things to check would be your loader settings. If you have something with adjustable tension or speed it might be cracking paint in the loader before it even makes it to your gun's breech so try decreasing your tension and/or speed settings if applicable.

I know, right? It was an indoor 3 man end of winter series we are playing to get back in the groove for this season. The paint was so bad it would break if dropped from about 3 feet. All three of our guns had problems shooting it and our rotors were chewing it up.

at the bolded since that's a good thing almost all the time

Are you sure it was 1 star or was it 5 star? I say this because 1 star is usually an out of round paintball that is closer to Draxxus basic than anything else and 5 star is super brittle tourney paint that works amazing if you set your gear up right.
