On newer dimmers, yes they do save energy. Older ones, no. They would just burn off the extra power as heat.

I'm an old junior at a real college and yet only now am I seeing a lot of my profs put low page count limits on reports and essays. Last week, I drafted a contract that my marketing teammates and I would have to abide by. Limit: 3 pages, double spaced. Mine turned out to be over 6 pages before I realized that there was actually a limit and not just a minimum.

Tonight, I have a four page max paper to do. My intro is almost a page by itself. I can't help but think that my profs want short papers because most of my peers write like fifth graders. Either way, I mad.

I can honestly say I have never had the problem that I wrote too much, usually it's quite the contrary.

i can't recall a specific example of being limited on how much I can write, but then again. high school

I would love to see Dean write about a topic that makes him get all mad and wordy, like how much better Subway is vs. Jimmy Johns or how double majoring in psychology and sociology or whateverthe**** is a stupid idea.

That **** would be like 100 pages long and filled with words like "obsequious" and "intransigent." Also, lots, and lots, also lots, of commas,.

I just did a 5 page paper over the magazine custom pc....it wasn't easy but it wasn't hard. Theres only so much you can bs about a computer magazine
