A mag fed.... Spyder Xtra?

Well, a tube magazine anyway...

So I picked up what I believe is an '05 spyder Xtra at an estate sale over the weekend for 15 bucks.

I cannibalized a few parts of an old Spyder Shutter I had sitting in the basement (macroline bottomline/barrel/rear cocking bolt) but I wanted to try something else with it as well...

I've been enjoying limited paint games lately and I figured I'd try to find a way to mount a hopper that would suit that purpose.

I've had a PT Xtreme magazine sitting in my parts box for a while now that I had intended to use with my 98 L96 project but that never happened. I thought I'd give it a shot mounting it to my spyder.

Here's how it turned out. Still need to clean up the edges and paint the mounting plate. Overall its not too shabby. And yes, it feeds just fine!

Looks awesome! How did you attach the tube mag to the mounting plate?

cut up and bent some sheet metal to fit the mounting hardware on the bottom of the mag. It took some trial and error but I got it eventually. seems pretty durable too!
