So I'm looking at bringing my ancient Phantom back to life, and I needed a duckbill ASA. Went to my local paintball shop and the owner hooked me up, but the ASA is about .75" between the center of the two holes, and the holes it should screw in are 1.25". I can obviously get one screw in but not both.

While this is probably a stupid question...is this a special size for ASAs? Do I need to buy something specific?

Yeah. Before it was common to have trigger frames tapped for bottomline ASA's there were at least two common standards. One is longer between the two holes than we currently run today.

I think you said your phantom needs an ASA with the longer hole spacing. mcarterbrown you can post in the WTB forum and say exactly what you need and someone will probably have it. I think it is called "nelson hole pattern" but its been a while. I think lapco pump guns had it too.

Most all phantoms use present day standard bottomline hole spacing, so you definitely have an oldy.
