I just picked this clone up in a trade and i was wondering if these screws are suppose to be flush with the body or if they are fine the way they are.

Is it the threads on the screws or in the body that are stripped? Prolly body?

I wonder if you can chase it with a tap to clean up the threads.

He means the Allen part is stripped out.

You can remove them if you are experienced enough to use an easyout.
Vise grips will work just be careful not to scratch your marker.

Depending on how stripped they are, you can try to stretch a fat rubber band over the allen opening and push the allen wrench in. I have a pretty good success rate using that trick.

Ahh. Makes sense. I bet the ano messed with the threads and you will have to run a tap in the holes, too.

Reviving this thread, does anyone know what thread size these are? Also does anyone know if these are something proprietary, or something that can be picked up in a hardware store.

I guarantee they're a metric standard size. No way MacDev would create a non standard thread for a plug. It's just a simple grub screw.
