You shouldn't convert to Judaism unless your last name contains "gold" or "man"

Find your nearest synagogue via Google and talk to somebody there. Or just buy the hat off Ebay, taking care not to over bid.

What I am telling you is that unless you are a Jew, do not convert to Judaism.

I know this is old, but it was on the front page and all the responses were useless.
Find an Orthodox Synagogue and talk to the Rabbi. He will probably turn you away three times out of tradition. It will be a long process requiring learning and soul searching, but if you truly want to convert, it is worth the wait. There are plenty of websites to help with getting you started.

Is a good source.

Is a good source to find a local place of worship.
I do not recommend insulting peoples names or religious headwear.

I can tell from the posts you put literally zero thought into this. You realization drastic changes of world view like converting religion isn't something you just do on a whim, right?

I don't know if that's always true. With the proper application of cognitive dissonance, one can identify with any religion really. For example, just this last Sunday I was an Irish Catholic.

Because he's an alcoholic. You know I'm joking martian. Kinda.
I'd check out my nearest synagogue.

I can stop any time I want. It's just that pesky "want" part that always gets me.

I like Judaism better than Christianity but I also like most Christians better than most Jews. The Jews are a very prideful people (not in a good way) so they might not take your desired conversion warmly.
What made you want to switch faiths?

Ever seen someone convert to Islam or Christianity?

That depends on which myth of Saint Patrick you were believing in. It is entirely possible you were not an Irish Catholic last Sunday.

I assumed Catholic affiliation with the word, "Saint." Probably not a wise assumption, but I think the spirit of the holiday is what's important. And I had many many spirits.
