Geo Project: [Insert Cool Name Here]
I always hated some of the features on the original geo. No room between the reg and trigger guard, those ugly "rail esc" humps on top, and the wierd flow of lines and curves the gun featured. So if you're looking for a why the project came to be, that would be it.
I knew upon getting this gun that it was going to be a project for me. I don;t have a CNC Mill or a lathe, just a file, dremel, and some sand paper. I'm no where close to being a profesional, but would like to get better at this as I go along.
Let me know what you think so far. If you have any questions, ask, and advice/CC is highly appreciated! I haven't polished the milled area's yet, since I will have to do the whole gun once I get some Lye.
Also PM me if you're an anodizer and would like to take it in as a project/courtesy job Although that's unlikely, I do have money to get it anno'd, but sincerely don't wish to spend more then 100.

Looks Awesome so far, just remember to not cut too much, leave some material left for the sanding steps. looks like your doing just fine so far though.

I like where you're going with this. The trigger frame looks a lot better and the body looks nice so far. I'm thinking of maybe doing something with my spare 05 body that's been laying around but I've never done any custom work. I'd probably only have access to a file sand paper and possibly my dads Dremel.

Thanks for the support guys. I need to find a direction to go with making the body look real good. Can't be too extravagent though, becaus both sides I want to match.. Ideally.

I was thinking about it, but I might have shaved off too much to make more room for my thumb (I like a wider space).

I'd have to agree that they look similar now, but there are still some major milling differences between the two.
Project's looking good! Keep it up.
