Which should I get cure 4 or hush bolt? for etek 4

What comes stock in an Etek 4? Bolts usually do not do enough to be worth the $50-$60 they cost. I'd save your money for paint unless your current bolt is somehow not working.

Chops =/= sound signature...

If you want to have less chops make sure your eye delay time isn't too low and make sure your loader speed is up high enough to feed what you need to shoot but not so high it drives paintballs in and breaks them. Also, make sure your loader tension isn't up too high and that your LPR is lower as to slow the cycle time. I'm running a Cure 1 in an Etek 2 and I'm not having any issues whatsoever as long as my loader is set right (but I've got a Spire so I'm good) and my LPR isn't cranked.

I don't care about the etek cannon noise im used to that... It's just the chopping it's horrible

Actually, it matters a LOT. There's a screw in there that controls ball stack tension, I'm not sure how to play with it since I haven't touched a Rotor in almost a year, but it's there and it's important.
