Yeah i think the pss10 is close to $2k? Stage 2 S4 I drove had H&Rs which weren't bad, but my friend has the PSS9s on his 996tt and i love how that car rides so I thought I'd try to go in that direction.

AWE put some set of electronic bilsteins on a B8 S4 once and they seemed relevant to my interest since my car doesn't have EDC, but I think they discontinued them or something since I have never seen them since.

I have electronic Bilsteins on my vette, lol. As much as I want coils it's hard to justify the 2k because my shocks and springs are brand new. I wish I could adjust ride height though

Aftermarket? These ones you could choose comfort or sport mode. Lot of cars have it stock. But don't see many aftermarket kits that do

KW has some new coils that have electronic damping. Not sure if they have released them for the S4 yet, however.

I thought the KW was designed to retain the function of the oem EDC? The bilstein was designed to give cars that didn't come with EDC that functionality?

KW has a set-up for both OEM integration and standalone. They also have a feature similar to Aventador's with the spring perch being a hydraulic piston that can raise and lower the ride height a few inches on the fly.

yeah I have seen that for other cars. Did not know you could get it for Audis, but doesn't matter don't think my car will ever be low enough to not clear speed bumps.

Too bad its like $3k for RS5 brakes. Those would be cool.

Think I'm going with Stoptech slotted rotors and Hawk pads. Just not sure if I leave the rears alone, or do those while I am at it. Also was thinking of doing stainless lines.

If you wanna **** yourself, call an audi dealer and have them price up full front brake job parts for an RS5 with Carbon Ceramic package. We did it for ****s n giggles on day when we had a new RS5 come off the truck with those brakes. Dear Jesus did we underestimate.

Yeah but the ceramics should last like 100k miles, right? Still though, I'm guessing $8k?

I'd never get ceramics if I could avoid it, and if I did at all, I'd only do it on a car that doesn't get driven more than a few thousand miles a year. Or i guess you could just replace them with regular brakes when they wear out. Full BBK is probably cheaper than the brake job. There is a challenge stradale around here with the Brembo GTR brake kit on it (which I believe is north of $10000) because its far cheaper to run that on a car that sees track duty than the ceramics.

RS6 ceramic fronts are about $20k
RS6 ceramics rears are around $14k

I'm assuming RS5 aren't THAT bad? 10k?

I've driven standard steel brakes with semi metallic pads 130K miles before the rotors started getting warped, just high quality standard parts go a long way.

No manual way to turn it back? I think most car companies have a way to do that hidden

Maybe something easy like you need to grease the tracks? mine was stuck in the vented position a few months ago and they said it just needed some grease. It's been fine since.

BTW welcome back, long time no see.
