no - the marker will not function properly without that bumber/o-ring (it will be loud, inefficient, and probably chop paint like crazy.
it's just off because I was cleaning it up and didn't put the thing back on for the photo

The fact that people are still getting usefull details from this thread is very cool! I haven't been involved in paintball for quite a long time, so if there is any new information or anything that some of you techies feel needs to be updated, just PM me or something!

get one of those bits that take out stripped screws. you just put it in, then tap it with a hammer and it'll come off.

i either lost the poppet spring or just have version 1 or the previous owner lost it. anyway, what type of performance issues can i look out for? and could i put a replacement spring in even if it is only version one?

Hey all, purchased my mini a few weeks ago. It is the most recent version I believe with the shockwave board. If I am correct I believe the earlier ones carry the optimus. Anyway, I would like to thank the creator of this thread and any who had input on the various parts of the mini, their classifications, and the changes made to them. It was really helpful when I opened up my marker to see what exactly was inside. I'll be putting it through its paces soon enough and if any questions arise you'll be certain that I shall return here!!

When time and life moves on and we're only an after thought in the rear view mirror, we will at least have this; something to say that we were here, that we fought; that we played the game as hard as we could because for a time this was us; our struggle, our life." ~Matty Marshall

people, PLEASE stop PMing me regarding what version your mini is! as stated already, there aren't even any versions of the minis and this gun is like 4 years old already, you probably have a good one! HAHA
thanks
p.s. I don't even play, and I RARELY visit pbn, so I won't get or reply to your message anyway!
