Go luxe or what on new empire marker??
I have had almost every gun under the sun as far speedball markers except for a chrome and vapor, yes I've even had the zr1. It all started at cup this year when I went to cup with my g6r and traded for a luxe. This was my first luxe it was a 1.0 and had the ndz core. It did nothing but blend paint. The next day on sunday I traded for a geo 2.1. This would be at the time my 5th geo in counting since the og geo that came out In 09. Geos are extremely reliable and I figured I can't go wrong like I never did in the past with a geo. well after not listening and been drinking 3$ beers all day at cup everyone told me its the ndz core put the stock one back in and u won't have any problems. Well I feel like a idiot and after my years of playing that was the one trade I highly regret After shooting other luxes and never having a problem. So here's what I'm wondering now that I have some good cash to the side.... Buy a luxe or wait for this new marker (vanquish) from empire that supposed to be a luxe platform marker? Empire has been good to me, I currently shoot a axe pro with boss bolt and hands down shoots just as good as any high end I have ever shot. So just seeing what u guys think.
Thanks

I say stay with what you have and see what gets released. If you have to have it, use the money and get it. If not, get some gear.
I owned a axe, geo 2.1, and luxe 2.0 at the same time and found myself using the axe just as much as my luxe, if not more. My 2.1 more than either.. Often times thinking to myself, I should just sell this luxe and pocket the coin or buy more gear. For some reason, I really want gear now. However, I have found the marker that fits and is most comfortable for ME and am not really looking for any other marker. I think I am just addicted and have to keep buying **** for no apparent reason.

Luxe takes a bit more knowledge than a geo, the geo is designed to be an idiot proof workhorse, while the luxe is a primadonna designed to be much more of a luxury. You've got to choose the right lube, keep it clean, and really know the marker.
It and the shocker are pretty much the same gun, if you want to get familiar with the luxe without getting rid of another gun, then get a shocker and mess with it. It should run you about $200 and the shocker community is some of the most knowledgeable in the business(more than any other by a large amount). Plus, there is zdspb, which is a site that goes over every facet of smartparts markers written by a certified SP tech.

I highly doubt the new Empire marker will have a Shocker-like bolt in the way the Luxe does without some significant changes.

I know people knock the axe as not being high end, but the Boss bolt and the performance is high end in my opinion. Stay with the axe.

If you like the Axe, I'd say you should stick with it. Why get rid of a proven marker you like to get an unknown? As for the Luxe, I can't stand the things. The board annoys me, and my small hands makes it possibly the least comfortable marker currently made (they don't still make y or z framed mags, right?).
