Yeah with about 6 guns to be released at the paintball expo. Makes you wonder why they haven't released something. With KEE and some other new companies coming out with new technology figure PE would have something different for the EGO. I know the GEO has some updates since its first release, but think of the EGO. When was the last major change that was a huge step in the EGO platform, same thing with the GEO. I've kind of wondered if the EGO is just tapped out and your pretty much at the peak of what that marker can do. Just have to see what they bring to the table.

Why would they? I don't know what all these 6 guns are, but with all the guns we've been made aware of, we haven't really been told anything about them either. And technically Empire hasn't actually released anything about their guns.

The only reason info on the J4 has been released is because it's a brand new company and gun and they need to build up hype. All we know about it is that it's a stacked tube spool.
The Vanquish is also a brand new gun, and we know nothing about it other than that we've seen it covered in tape.
Supposedly there's an Empire Impulse also, but nothing has been released about it.
The v-com had had lot of info released though, but it's not necessarily an entirely new gun.

And, there is this 1st picture of this thread that tells us nothing. That's about as much as we've seen of the vanquish.

I think i have depicted the parts to it... Csl frame (no front frame screw),unmilled ego11 frame, rest are ego11 parts but who know whats imside of the gun. Bolt pin looks slightly diffrent. May have protytype dart bolt in it.

That thing on page 1 definitely has a working macroline. Just look how far the POPS is moved backwards. On macroless guns, you cannot move the ASA. No sane engineer would design it like that, not even for a prototype gun.

its obviously a shopped ego 11, everything is ego 11, even the grip. I also dont think they would go from increased milled to ugly boxy. I hope the macro will go away in the next gen.

I dont see it as effecting anything but looks.

I'm not hating I think the EGO and GEO are great markers. But if you look at the basic concept of the EGO from say 2008 till the 2011, what were the changes that were significant? I think Jack has something up his sleeve and either is going to come out with something just off the wall. Or a huge difference between the 2011 and the 2013 if it does exsist. Same thing with the GEO, I think the first GEO was a good marker and with some improvements its better on paint and there is less kick. Which again is a great marker. But just thinking with them not coming out with a EGO12 there was something big coming along.

Macroless makes maneuverability just that much simpler; most noticeable when swapping sides.
To me, it's mostly an aesthetic quality.

Ok everyone, Planet Eclipse has made a prototype EGO 13! I have seen it, held it, and have shot it. All I can tell you is that if PE comes out with the EGO 13, is that is going to blow all of the companies below the charts and PE is going to be way off the charts! Sorry that's all I can tell you.

Not shopped, that's the prototype Ego that they were testing the DART kit in. It's just an unmilled Ego 11 body.

I've played with a G6R, Proton (long term), Axe (long term), and Mini (long term) and I didn't notice anything different when switching hands from anything else. I have an ego 13, which I love, and don't have any problem shooting it with a macroline. The problem is, it's an old school design that uses an exposed plastic hose in a metal fitting, which sometimes requires "gigeling" to stop it from leaking; and with wear, it only gets worse. Macroless is one new improvement most top gun designs have already incorporated and PE should follow suit.
