Preventing Barrel Breaks

Hi,

While playing with my victory this past weekend, I noticed I would get the occasional barrel break. Then today after lubing I got another barrel break. After swabbing the barrel, I shot a whole hopper with no problems. Is there any way to prevent these barrel breaks?

Don't underbore to much, make sure your paint is not to brittle and being destroyed when fired, and make sure your hopper tension isn't to high cracking balls in the feed stack.

Was shooting the .685 stock barrel on paint t hat went through my .679 freak insert. I think it may be the hopper tension on my spire though. I'll give it a shot.

I have seen a player severely under bore on a TechT iFit without breaks. He told me with a Freak, he will breaks balls for sure.

Maybe the short length of the TechT, it allows this kind of underboring.

Underboring doesn't really cause breaks. Usually it's paint, climate or something with your loading.
