what to expect?

After taking a 4 year medical leave of absence due to a car accident(in motorcycle vs car, the car wins) I'm hopefully recovered enough to start playing again, so after selling all my gear several years ago to help pay med bills, I bought myself an 09 NXT shocker and am wondering if there is anything special I need to be aware of. Before my accident, I had been shooting; Mainly a DM6, and had previously shot a PM6, Timmy, and ICD Freestyle. Is there anything different in maintenance or operation that I should be aware of?

Thanks for your help guys, I almost feel like a newb again.

Ever have a shocker before this one? If so its really no different, but here is a video to freshen ya up and clear up any confusion you may have. This is all you would have to do for regular maintenance.

and if you ever have leaks or shooting problems, check out this place:

sorry to hear about your accident. glad to welcome you back to the game and to the shocker family.

regular care involves lubing the bolt and reg whenever needed. you'll want to pick up an o-ring kit at least so you can hand fit for the best tolerances. Dow 33 or SLEEK is the standard shocker lube. However there are other options people swear by.

If you have any other questions or problems we can help!
