what is this... help please

Hey fellas,

I got this cocker pump recently and I don't really know anything about them. So really I'm looking for any info you guys could share with me from your vast knowledge of all things autococker. Also if you could help me figure out how much its worth?

So far (I think) I know it has: Hinge frame, Hoopty pump kit, R.S.F "pre 2k2 body, and that's about it...

Thanks in advance, any info is apriciated

(Sry about the upside down pic)

Palmers reg... what else do you need to know?

The way it sits... maybe $100??? If you've got a decent barrel or two you could possibly build a little from there.

It looks well taken care of for the age of it. But that being said, Its not like the pump kit is a CCM or anything... Im just giving a quote of what I would pay for something like that... maybe someone else can give a better quote, but I dont feel too far off.

EDIT: the pump could also be a factory WGP... needless to say, not worth anything more

Thanks, thats about what I was thinking as far as cost, is it possible to tell what kind of bolt is in it by the exposed section in the back? What kind of trigger is on it? And a more accurate year would be cool, also that is a hinge frame right?

yes, hinge frame with dye stickie grips and i believe a black magic trigger. the bolt I do not know by just the back? looks factory but I cant remember if the factory ones around that time just had the cross hatching to grab on to or if they were milled like that?

The exact year? I have no idea, maybe a serial number lookup?

Ok thanks again that's pretty much the info I was looking for, I didn't know if the milling on the back was specific to a particlar bolt, I just wanna be able to give anyone thats interested in it as much info as I can

If you really want to know, pull it and post a pic, somebody will know exactly what it is.

also, did you have confirmation from the previous owner it is a hoopty pump kit? the WGP looks exactly the same...

As I said earlier, either kit doesnt matter, MSRP was within $5 of each other... But if you wanted to know everything about it... Id look into it as well.

was there any barrels or just whats shown?

I think that's a stock reg. Guessing '99 body? I'd pay $100 for that. A barrel would be a plus

(Why are we up this late?)

I'd be happy with $100 (or 145 with mf barrel^^), and you think that's a stock reg? Cause I do have another cocker looking reg laying around that il probably put on it then.

(I can only speak for myself but I start graveyard shift tomorrow)

It's a 99 WGP Right Feed.

That's not a palmer reg, it's stock. A decent reg, but a pain to adjust.

The pump handle is a WGP, nothing special. The bolt is the only thing I'm not too sure of, posting a picture would help. It's also got a shocktech cocking rod.

It's worth about $75, give or take. If you find someone who'll give you more than that, you should jump on it.

I've been doing a bit of Google research and I found out it is a stock bolt.

I rememberd that I had some compatible pump parts on an old failed attempt at a spyder pump convieniently including a hoopty pump kit and what I think is an old palmers reg so il probably sell it with all of the above.

I've also lowered the price to $80 w/ bob long barrel, $125 w/ Stiffi Mf. Does that sound about right?

Thanks for the additional info, I wasn't aware of the shocktech rod

Also its kinda hard to tell in the pic but the hinge frame is a two tone green fade. Did they come like that or is that a custom job?

It probably came off an old green to green fade Orracle.

They came that color stock, but I haven't seen one on the market for a long long time. It's not any more or less valuable. Just green.

You'll probably get more out of the barrel if you sold it by itself. The more you lump together into a package, the less each individual part will be worth.

That is actually a Hooptie pump kit, cheap kits: http://paintballgateway.com/wgpaupucokit1.html
Yours is a pre-2K kit though, that don't have those in stock.

That's cool, not that it makes to much a difference but its good to know, I know they made a couple different kits cause I bought a newer ac kit a couple years ago for the spyder project I mentioned earlier and it looks different

Here's an updated pick I changed a few things to make it look a little nicer. Anyone know what regulator that is on it now?

Yes, they top out at about 210 PSI, with the pre2k's smaller valve chamber you''ll probably want to go back to the stock reg, you'll need at least 300 PSI, closer to 450 if it's got the stock springs and no LPC in the pump guide, a good tear down of the stock reg would be a good idea.
