Having a hard time removing valve from 2k+

Hey guys,

I am trying to pull the valve on a 2k+ rf body. I have removed the retention screw and lug nut. The valve will not budge. The valve seems to be aftermarket as there is not a channel cut through it. The area where the valve screw was is flattened but solid. And the valve is stainless steel. There is a small lip there and I have tried to push on it with a pick, but it has not moved.

Any advice here would be appreciated.

Remove your front block, take a 1/8" allen wrench and put it through the front of the body and lightly tap on it to get the valve to fall out. This is a common problem and happens all the time.
