New barrel for dm7

Alright so I picked up a dm7 about a week ago with no barrel for 200 and I need some suggestions on which barrel to get for it. I currently have a stock orange mini barrel which looks like *** on the gun or a stock g3 barrel which I've found always gave me a terrible shot grouping. Im about to place an order with ansgear for a new eyepipe so I figured I might as well pick up a new barrel while I'm at it. I'm looking to spend no more then $60 and was considering something from the CP line but I've heard mixed reviews on them. Also, if someone could suggest which bore would be best, that'd be great. Also, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe I heard you're supposed to overbore with dm7's?

Ok we'll I'd suggest getting an $80 barrel. The
eye pipe is $20+$60 for the barrel = $80. There is free shipping over $100. If not, shipping is $20. So you might as well by $20 worth of stuff.

But a proto 2 piece will do you fine.

Id suggest getting a .684 dye ul barrel. that way your dm will be complete again.

Thanks for the replies guys, there is a small problem though. From what I can see on ans, a new UL is $110 brand new and a 2 piece proto looks nice but they don't have dust black ...Anything a little bit cheaper or should I just use BST? I only have $110ish on my debit card atm and the eyepipe is $10

You can get a deadly wind null barrel for about $60. Thats a carbon fiber barrel with a .688 strqight bore. Same bore as the stock ul. Its a great barrel if you like a CF barrel.

Use a different site! The proto is the same thing as a UL but with less porting.

689 or 692 dye UL barrel you can find them on BST for 40 bucks... best barrrel u'll ever get

Disruptive makes very affordable and quality barrels as well. It won't look as clean as a UL but on a DM nothing else really does.

Hell, I got my UL for $25. But a proto 1 piece wouldn't be bad. I have been using the UL for about 7 months, and I'm still waiting for this miracle to happen.

The proto 1 peice is amazing for only $35
