Dulles is about a 30 minute ride to the Conference Center.

Reagan is another Washington DC airport which has cheaper flights BUT it is 1 1/2 hour ride (around a $100 cab/shuttle ride). Unless you're plannning on doing a rental car anyway - remember to add that costs or $200 cab ride when comparing flights and airports.

my flight goes into Dulles monday afternoon....don't have a car....

this is going to be fun...is there a shuttle from the airport to the convention center? or just have to pay for a cab or something?

Rent a car!!!!

We found one on Hotwire for like $20 a day plus gives you the freedom to go out at night if you want after the after hour activities from the show.

where did you find that deal? got a link? it is probably worth the extra $100 or so

Correct. Dulles is only a few miles from the Conference Center. Depending on your approach into Dulles you may fly right over it as you land.

It's only 30 minutes in Rush Hour traffic. It's a pretty easy drive to the Conference Center from the Airport. Assuming you're driving or have a rental car, you'll head out of the airport, and take Route 28 west. If you're departing the airport between 4PM and 6PM I'd stay in the middle lanes of Route 28. It'll be a smoother drive as the next few exits cause congestion. Route 28 ends at the merger of Route 7. You'll head North (make the left) at the split on to Route 7. Follow it for about 2-3 miles. You'll make a right at the Belmont Ridge Intersection to get to the Conference Center. Drive time should be 10-15 minutes without major traffic, 15-30 in rush hour, with very few traffic lights.

If you take a cab, figure on it being $25-30.
