G6R Help

I have a 2011 G6R since I have had it Ive maybe gone through 3 or 4 batteries. (in a period of 2 weeks) It has just been from shooting maybe 1000 balls in my back yard. In between the maybe 3 times Ive taken it out to shoot it, the battery has died.

Im not really sure what to do about it cause its never happened to me.

Has this happened to anyone else before? What should I do about it? (besides taking the battery out in between, which is a pain)

Anything might help. Thanks!

this sounds very.... nubish but you turned the marker off after each time correct?

Also with the G6R board it will chew through batteries.

Yes... i know how to turn the marker off. But it is my first Bob Long Gun. Is there any way to fix the problem of it using so much battery . even when turned off?

Give BLAST a call, may be a bad board.

I'd call blast if I were you. That should not be happening. I have multiple g6rs and the batteries only get changed every few months if that.

This has been an issue that has popped up occasionally with the 2011 G6Rs. It is likely a bad board. Contact BLAST about getting a replacement.

Unfortunately this is a common problem. It's a bad board, either due to code, being prone to shorting or just another random board issue.

My understanding is that BLAST is out of LED boards and Tadao doesn't have them either. You'd either have to suck it up and remove the battery after each day of play or purchase an upgraded Tadao Ebisu board to reconcile the issue.
