Ultimately, it is insulting to people with Asperger's. They have a real disease. Blake is just stupid by choice.

The emotion fueled plea to bring the new gun control law to a vote was so pathetic

They're just laying the groundwork. Its in the liberals' nature.

Ya, insisting an issue be brought to a vote is typical liberal conniving.

Glad to see Rubio embrace the neo-con GOP establishment, and give a response to the SOTU that may as well have been written back in November. Same old **** that the GOP has been repeating for the last 4 years.

Insisting that the path to being more secure is more government control is typical liberal conniving.

In the world we currently inhabit, voting is liberal conniving more often than it is not.

When it is voting on blatantly unconstitutional legislation, it absolutely is.

Does this include when you're voting to amend the constitution?

That wouldn't be unconstitutional then, would it?

Wait. Too many one-line answers, I'm confused. Are we saying yes, it's liberal conniving to amend the constitution? Or are we saying the people voting on amending the constitution equates to liberal conniving?

My point is, often times if you're having to ammend the constitution it's due to something that's currently unconstitutional

If you are proposing legislation that is unconstitutional, it is nothing but a stupid political gesture so that you can throw up your arms and say "Well guy, we tried!"
If they want to implement the proposed legislation, they should do what they actually want to do and try to amend the Constitution. At least then they would be honest.

Is voter registration infringing on my right to vote? What about sedition and libel laws, those are unconstitutional too.

Individual states control voter eligibility.
Alien and Sedition laws were interposed and nullified by the individual states.

As far as legislation to curb gun violence, maybe. However, I would argue that our forefathers would suggest that legislators could attempt to pass any law they want and that the constitutionality of these laws are held to the supreme court to review and affirm.
So I can't whine too much about congress, or anyone on the hill trying to pass laws to reflect the changing nature of our country. Everything else like the patriot act and 'obamacare' have had their judicial review and anything else Congress passes will be no exception.
In this way, liberal conniving sounds more like working as intended in my mind. Of course, I'm from Texas where the insane laws our legislature tries to pass some times makes the feds look timid.

The reaction to the Alien and Sedition acts supports it as well. Unlike Lawyers, that are taught the Constitution and its meanings are just a series of case law whatchamacallits.

Well that was convenient.
