Need Help

So guys, the time has come. I am looking to buy a used Luxe 2.0 from a guy i dont know very much, and as i have no experience with the DLXs i want your help. What should i check to the marker? are there any areas that need special attention? Are there any parts on the marker that could show off the history(how much the previous owner take care of it etc) of the marker? what should the marker come with(charger, inserts...)?

Any help is welcome.
thanks

Start by reading the manual and digging through threads here if you want to learn more about how to maintain your luxe.

OOOOOOOOh yea, the manual, of course RTFM, i know but
i wasnt refering to the maintenance, i was talking about things i should check before buying in order to know that the marker is in good shape and not abused.

thanks for your answer anyway,at least you tried to help.

It was a serious answer. There are plenty of threads here that describe different problems users are having with their Luxe, and by going through them and reading how we go about troubleshooting and diagnosing various problems with the gun, you can learn plenty about how it works or how to fix them if they don't.

As far as checking for abuse, there isn't any one part in the gun that will scream 'if this piece is bent you can tell the owner was a *******'. Usual wear and tear on the exterior is a good way to judge about how the owner treated their marker. But if you're buying a 2.0 there's a good chance it will be fairly new and undamaged.

If it comes with everything it does when new, that's ideal. Otherwise the only actual accessory you need to shoot it is the charging cable. You also might want to check the serial number to see if its hot.

this...

reading about the marker and getting to know it will give you the ability to tell if something isn't quite right with it...
