I really don't need a spool. The marq style poppet is amazing and actually has a nice feel as opposed to a lifeless spool. (Coming from a guy who shot spools almost exclusively since 05.)

It also looks like that price does not include the back piece. You can get that for an extra fee, but it's not a huge deal to me. If i want efficiency, i'll just grab the G6R

looks like you might be right. If that's the case I won't get it since that's what they are touting is a "quick swap and pressure change"

i also figured i probably won't be swapping the engines out very often once i settle in on one i like, so it's no biggie.

i don't think it's too much effort to swap out the back piece IIRC

I know there are two screws that are exposed when you lift up the cap, but i'm not sure if that's all you need to remove or if it's more involved.

from what i remember, and im probably wrong, you just need to remove the silver pin from the cap

Lift the back cap (as if removing the engine), there are 2 screws there that hold the cap and engine can together... Roughly 1 1/2 minutes from start to finish...
