Could PBN start making ask me anything threads in ST a bannable offense? Seriously, ST has been going to **** for a while now and AMA threads are ****ing stupid.

I'm saying they shouldn't be allowed to be posted at all. They're too easily made by people who have nothing of value to offer to the PBN community, and the ones that are actually informative get off-topic too quickly.

You are referring to the threads in the off topic or small talk area of PbNation aren't you? A message forum that is based on paintball? With your reasoning ST and OT would be removed, not just a few threads. If you don't like seeing them in those forums then don't go in there. I'm not really sure what you are attempting to accomplish.

I don't think you're really comprehending what I'm saying. I'm referring specifically to a type of thread that has been cluttering ST in the past weeks, normally referred to as an "ask me anything" type of thread. I'm guessing people try to use them for the PbNation pursuit game, trying to make a popular thread or whatever. However, these threads have gotten absolutely ridiculous. I'm not suggesting we remove ST, I love ST. I've just been constantly seeing ******* "ask a [insert something here] anything" threads, which really serve no purpose whatsoever other than cluttering ST.

I am fully comprehending what you're saying but it appears you are not comprehending what I'm saying. I'll simplify it some:
You want me to disallow a particular subject in a off topic/non paintball area as it "clutters" your page and offers nothing to the website. I'm saying that if I do that then ST and OT would need to be removed to follow the guidelines you state. I can't remove ST or OT as it's a common ground for people who no longer play paintball or have any real interest in it. ST and OT is the place for the AMA threads as well as all the same genre type threads. While I'm not a real fan of ST and OT it does serve a purpose here.

Like most fads, it will probably pass. If you want it to pass by faster, ignore those threads and get your friends to ignore them too.

The one thing we can (and have done) is close them when they degenerate into an full blown OT thread.
