thinking about picking one of these up for my wife...she doesn't play as often as I do, but it is embarrassing using an Axe while she is toting around a Spyder Victor.

Not sure what this means really. I hear this all the time from people and my response is who are you trying to impress? Its paintball not fashion. I have seen people with $1000 egos and vapors get railed by semi rentals. I have seen people destroy 5 man teams by themselves shooting pistols. Let the play do the impressing not the equipment. You have an axe which is a very very good mid/high end gun that shoots double its cost. If the spyder victor shoots and she plays well with it that's all you need. Azodin has great little markers but if your looking to not be embarrassed by what others are saying this isnt the brand to alleviate those concerns. If you are looking for a great shooter gun that is easy maintenance and efficienct then by all means get Azodin markers. If you are looking for approval of others im afraid this isnt it. Also I envy you. I wish I could get my fiancee to play again. She got shot in her ribs between the opening in the vest and has officially retired.

^this is true, the "big boys" tend to hate on azodin. the blitz is a little loud, but will keep up with almost any gun out there.

I never understood the hate. The blitz needs minimal upgrades (ie feedneck a must, asa and barrel if wanted) but your right it keeps up with almost anything when properly maintained. Good cheap electro Stbb marker. Btw kaos hows that duracoat holding up?

It is more along the lines that my wife is still using Walmart grade gear that chops balls like mad, the CO2 freezes up, and she doesn't have an electric agitator. She would never complain, but I figure if I can spend money on myself for a good gun and gear, she deserves decent as well.

most women wont understand or appreciate what a paintball boyfriend or husband trying to get better gears for them.
I am not suppose to say this as I might lose a sale oppotunity but it is always a better choice if you choose to buy her a ring or necklace instead of a gun lol...

Actually, my wife would prefer if I buy her gardening/home improvement stuff or running/hiking/tennis gear over jewelry.

it seems as long i get a case of a fancy, different color of paint for her, shes happy. but she enjoys playing and doesnt complain too much about the bruises. plus she has a girlfriend at her work that plays every weekend.

change the barrel out to one that has better porting it really does make a difference. i have a Stiffi MF barrel at .683 bore that i swap between my etek and blitz along with an invert whisper they really do quiet the markers down to a better level
