Necro but people are giving this high interest. Looks like limited paint formats are starting to make the news.

I was approached and this might just go off.

So far
5-140 Round tubes (can be distributed prior to game)
Center Flag Pan Am style point system.

Edit--- May or June Event.

Edit 2 --- Looking for refs with experience. PM me. Location: So Cal. Max 24 Teams 2 Divisions. 1 Day event. We would prefer 8-10 refs on the field at any given time. Yes, it is paid.

This is how I make my living in paintball nowadays. Being the one D4 player on a D5 team. I can never get bumped above D4 if I only play D5 tournaments.

Anyways, depending on date I might be interested in reffing. I'll PM you.

2010 Chicago D4X 1st Place- Tampa Bay Vengeance
2010 MAO D4X 3rd Place- NJ Jesters Kids

I say Two Pods per player ( 140 round ones ) then they can distribute them on the field any way they want.

APPA for sure and they must have a valid ID
D4 and D3

Wanna put together a pump team???

I can ask this guy too >>>>>

this would get the younger kids and newer players into the sport. Most people are pretty tight on money right now and if a kid is wantign to play and the cost has dropped, such as this is suggesting, then the parents may fork over the money quicker.

Make this a semi tournament...ramping might be a bit much esp for newer players.

Get the new players actaully engaged in running the tournament. Offer them the chance to "shadow" the refs and LEARN about the game play and calls.

use this idea as a teaching/coaching event.

the more experienced D5/D4/D3 players invovled should try and mentor the new blood.
