And out of curiousity, are you looking for possible bodies to use as test mules or guns with boards? I have an a4 body from a parts lot, a trashed speed body and I have a C&C IR3 with no internals.

Received my kit in the mail yesterday. Thanks for the super fast shipping. I installed the kit in an IR3. I grounded the kit to my on/off switch mount and it works great. Thanks again!

Fit and finish was good. The ground spring was a little big for the rear screw on the solenoid cover on the IR3 so I unwound the spring a little and screwed the power switch on top of it. My gun has a custom anno on it which was pretty thick so it took some good sanding to get the ground right. Thanks for making the kit, its a lot better then the adapter for CR123's I put together (-:

unless he has updated his kit, it doesn't look like it will work for the 4.8v angels.
Since he designed it for the LCD/IR3... the parts are sized for the entire battery tube as well as using an end cap for the negative terminal.
so...
1) white positive spacer is too long
2) 4.8v batteries go in from the back of the gun... so you can't use the end cap
that being said...
6v battery sticks - 5x1.2v 1/3A
4.8v battery sticks (speed/a4) - 4x1.2v 1/3A
4.8v battery sticks (g7/fly) - 4.1.2v 2/3AA
1/3A and 2/3AA are all the same length... 2/3AA is smaller diameter than 1/3A.
So to use his kit:
1) chop off the white spacer piece a bit
2) figure out another way to attach the negative terminal
