Sounds about right. We got a couple days of snow here, then freezing rain. Turned the whole state into a skating rink.

I would much rather have to deal with mowing year round than freezing my *** off trying to clear the pile of snow the plows left at the end of my drive way.

It's sunny and brisk out. Stopped raining, I can finally get a couple angel projects done. I hate getting an order and not having power shuts me down .
Got a few cool things in the works. More to come soon.

This. Especially bad when those piles freeze in place.

I used to live on one of the busier streets in town, and they would plow, then follow up with de-icer. Which mixes with the road grit and hardens the snow piled up from the plow into solid chunks of ice. On your sidewalk. And driveway. 2 foot deep banks weren't at all uncommon after a heavy snow. Had to chip that crap away inch by inch just to get our mail delivered (mailman would refuse delivery if the sidewalk wasn't clear).

At that point I'd buy one of those yard stick long torches and just melt the **** down.
We live in the middle of butt **** nowhere.. we only see snow plows once a month. So right now after all the rain the snow is gone but the roads are solid ice, and they are slanted heavily towards the ditch... staying on the road is an adventure out here.. especially with the 60mph wind gusts yesterday.
Getting extremely sick and tired of driving through town though cuz the state of **** stain Michigan dumps more sand than salt on main roads.. so all it does is turn into a ****ing brown mist of "lol I just used an entire washer fluid reservoir in 20 miles and now I can't see anything!!"

Actually its only mid michigan where this is a problem.. when I lived on the west side of the state (which gets exponentially more snow due to lake effect) the roads were fine.. but in Lansing area they only hire alcoholics to drive plow trucks.

Well, that Passat wagon isn't going to work out. He's got a "policy" about not selling to friends and family. Continuing the prowl. It actually opens up a few doors, because running through rate and term, now I know what I can be looking for, and it's quite a bit more than I initially thought.

Nope, I think it's more that he's afraid of what my father in law would do to him if something happened to it a month down the road.
I have no doubts it's a solid enough car. Truth be told, I probably wouldn't want to sell a car to a friend or family member either. If something did happen, it might become awkward. In my case, if something would have happened, I'm pretty good with wrenches, and what I can't handle, my father in law can. But still.
Thinking about a Focus. Good efficiency, can get it in stick, and there's a bazillion of them out there with the 2.0 engine being widely used, so parts shouldn't be a problem.

Get something ahmexican, dodge is a good start. The charger has a few dif. Engine choices and a bunch of upgrades. Prices are negotiable almost everywhere . They drive great and have plenty of power.
