Raney has officially anounced that he joined damage for 2013.
Why is everyone leaving ironmen all of the sudden?

Because they find Mike difficult to work under? Wouldn't be the first. Plus, there is always the allure of Damage and their large purse and the fact that Raney played under SK last season.
Waiting for him or Damage to say something though.

Mike and Raney have played together and been a part of the same orgnization for longer than most folks posting on here have played paintball....Here are a few more options/possibilities for consideration: it could be that damage is a sister DYE team, or, maybe its about time and Raney won't have to practice as much as he would with the Ironpipes (every weekend?), and fact of the matter is the Ironmen have too many talented folks on the roster so it will be fiercely competitive to get match time.
Btw, 100% confirmed Raney to Damage.

I think the players & teams are realizing that the league (at least the only one that matters anyway) may be moving towards locking rosters during the season. It only makes sense with the new relegation system. Now the players and coaches are all scrambling to get where they want to go for the SEASON, not just the next event.

Tampa Bay Damage Signs Timothy “Raney” Stanczak, formerly of Ironmen
Several hours ago Social Paintball was informed that Tampa Bay Damage has signed Timothy “Raney” Stanczak, formerly of the Los Angeles Ironmen. During the 2012 PSP campaign Stanczak finished the 33rd ranked paintball player in the world, and provided an excellent mid-field option for the rebuilding Ironmen during the second half of the season.
Also, this should come as no surprise due to the fact Raney has some prior experience with Tampa as he played with them during the 2012 NPPL Las Vegas World Championships, when a knee injury sidelined him. Joey Blute has stated that an official video release is forthcoming and will take place during an interview that Social Paintball is conducting with the team.
“After playing with Raney in Vegas last year we know he was a good fit. We are glad to add some one of Raney’s talent. 2013 is going to be good,” said Blute.

I might actually start paying attention to paintball as a sport one of these days...
This all sounds awesome (including past news postings of changes.)

Probably when the Season begins and we can no longer refer to them as off-season moves. Players will keep moving throughout the season.

Joey bought Raney plain and simple. 2k plus gun per event. We won't pay that kind of money. So we wish him the best of luck.

I'd be pissed if one of my teammates left because I don't have a big wallet too, not really unprofessional, just painting him as a gun for hire instead of a loyal teammate.
