Thanks for recommending newegg.com everyone! It so far saved about $20 or so without adding sales tax. Now for the video cards, I looked into the 570 and 7870. Those prices I can't do.

What would be a decent video card that could run most games at a fair level for at most $150?

I'm thinking a 7850 would be right about $150. It looks like Newegg has them for $160 after a mail-in-rebate, and they don't always have the best price. You might be able to get one for sale somewhere else. If not, maybe a GTX 650.

I would have to second this recomendation if your budget of $150 still stands. The extra money is well spent.

Pretty big increases across the board and a good handful of them are important increase (IE borderline 20-30fps to a solid 40-50fps)

Thats $589 after rebates and coupon codes(plus a little more, the hd coupon is vague), that leaves you $160 to get one of the graphics cards I mentioned earlier
