As a snake player I didn't feel coaching was a disadvantage in the least. We didn't have a coach most of the time so, maybe that was it? The best we had were friendly faces from our home field if, and when they weren't playing..

I might be alone in this and that's ok but I like the crowd participation coaching brings. Half the time its just some stranger yelling random codes they use... Pretty sure in the middle of one game I had a rage fit trying to listen to them all and just told them all to shut up and have one person say something cause I couldn't concentrate... . lol.

Even without an actual "coach" I still did not feel like I had a disadvantage. I still had my handy dandy team mates yelling their heads off.. If anything it made the job a bit mindless when there was someone over there.

An interesting thought....Pump without coaching on that larger 10 man field wouldn't that be crazy ...Obviously it was only used for the 10 man.
