It's a new way to add excitement to the format. Instead of keeping layouts secret until the last minute this season, they are going to keep the venue's secret until the day before!
Just wait til you guys figure out that world cup is in Canada this year!

not sure how that will work out but i would love to see players running around the airports like crazy it will be a new style format Race-to the tournament |

Plan on flying to all 4 events. That is worst case. Sucks not knowing but there is no other way yet. As soon as the 2nd event venue is announced, it will be all over nation and the PSPevents site.

All 4? PSP has 5 events this season.
First event is Dallas, March 14th-17th (Pro's starting a day early)
Second event is more than likely a West Coast event, I have heard Vegas,
LA and Phoenix talked about in other threads, May 3rd–5th. (Could be others, just what I saw people discussing)
Third is Chicago, June 20th–23rd.
Fourth is more than likely an East Coast/MAO event, August 16th–18th.
Fifth is World Cup, Polk City Florida (Orlando Area) October 17th–20th.
If you are trying to put together a team budget early and get a ball park I would check those dates into each airport in the area and maybe average the ticket prices to get a baseline. |

5* That was a typo. I doubt the 2nd event will be Vegas but I would love it to be there. I think they would do SoCal before Vegas, but Vegas would be BEAST. |

Roger that, agreed.
I think for teams trying to budget the only two real unknown costs are flights and hotels. Car rentals are pretty close to the same at every event, food, entry and paint fall into the same category. You could even use the 3 known events and average those to get a good baseline on what to tell your players.
I bet all of this speculation is for nothing and the PSP comes out with final locations fairly soon though. |
