I'm buying a used Etek 3, however, I was wondering what I would need to check for before purchasing?

Anything I should know, like good PSI or anything about dry firing? - Please and thank you.

You just need to know that it works just fine and doesn't leak. The nice thing is that unlike a Star framed Etek/2 you don't have to check for the QEV diaphragm and unlike any Etek/2 you don't need to check the solenoid.

Listen closely into the breach for leaks. If it leaks down the barrel, change the orings. If it still leaks, make sure it is not a valve of ram housing issue before you buy it.

I have a nice etek 3lt I'm trying to sell back up gun dont use it. Case barrel manual wrenches condom, pooty cure 4, zick 2, pops Asa. Shoots great

That it holds air, reads a new battery, and cycles fully. That way you know you are buying a working marker and don't have a surprise repair bill
