Bolt stick / shootdown Threshold
I just got my threshold shooting again. It shoots fine for the first shot but it loses fps as i shoot a steady stream down to the point where it is half cycling. Stock bolt and techt bolt. Dwell of 20ish? with an ape board. Hyper 2 reg and the stock reg (silver piston, dont have ared) So, Ill air up my threshold and I can hear the air moving through the gun, but it is much slower than it should be. So I thought it was the reg. Switched to my hyper 2. Same problem. Its half cycling as well some times.
Any ideas what it could be? Shoots fine if i let it recharge all the way (about 1 second)
Im out of air but i just need an idea so i can fix it tomorrow when i have air.
Thanks

Maybe the solenoid? Might be time for servicing.
Also do you have another air tank or another marker to test the tank you were using? I doubt that's the culprit, but who knows.

I'm assuming you've tried a new battery? And go ahead and try both of those tanks once you get air.

Screw your tank on, turn it a quarter turn back and try again.that will ensure your not asa pin isn't closing the flow. Make sure there isn't anything in the way where the reg screws in the frame either

leave return at 20-25. you only need to shoot 15bps, its plenty
dwell 14, abs 1. should never need more than that
noid is the problem, ill put money on it. unless your battery is bad

no but for the sound of your problem is that you having shootdown on a high rate of fire, right? reg, bolt and even tank reg orings might be worn. also what type of lube you are using? stay away from dow.

Try resetting the board to stock and then dropping the dwell down to 10 with the TechT bolt in.
I had an issue with my G4 where the bolt would half cycle, stop for a second, and then reset. I could look down the feedneck and watch it doing this, and it was the same with both the stock bolt and the TechT HE bolt. After a fresh re-lube with hater sauce it would work better for the first 5-10 shots and then get progressively worse until it was half-cycling and sticking again.
After replacing the back breech o-ring and re-lubing it and the bolt with Lurker Lube it improved, but still stuck a little. I then dropped the dwell down to 10 from 13 and it went away entirely.
The field tech seemed surprised that dropping the dwell instead of raising it is what fixed it, but that's what worked for me. Anecdotal obviously, but give it a shot.

OP is noob. Didn't read the stickies. DP sucks.
But I agree with Joe. It has to be the noid. If you have changed the reg, the only thing that could cause shootdown is the noid. Unless you have an oring that is wayyy to big and dragging on really bad. But then you would probably have some gnarly bolt stick.
