If you're a regular player in MI who can play above the level of D4, ranked or not...
then TCP probably knows who you are. Plain and simple.

I have played in these events for two years. I play for TC paintball midland, we came down 1 year ago, and literally scored 23 points TOTAL for 3 events. This year, we have attended each of them, and have scored mid to high sixties each time, always making finals. Tell him to pick it up, wipe it off and get going. You get better every time. Show the tournament what it means to be "Throwtogethers". Have some pride, the rest will come with time.

I agree that the term "beginner" should not be used ive been in paintball for close to 16 years now and under "d4" and under i qualify as beginner. I have played one national event back in either 05 or 06 and have played with some amazing talent here locally. Now to my point. Verry few people that make it to a tc event are true beginners but thats because of the drive to get better and attendance of fight nights whare you get a range of players from guys like myself (havent hit one myself in a few years though) to people that play on a profesionall level. I guess the misleading term of "beginner" needs to be looked at if your son is trully wanting to play in the turny environment we all would encourage more time behind a marker AND alot of face time with field layouts for strategies, jump in with better players after all you can only be as good as your compatition
