Ehh I hate to say this but I'm selling this to go back to an iPhone. Jailbreak came out and I'm getting the apple omg I have to have it feeling. Plus I miss having it I liked my 4s and 4 so I just want to go back. And already have a nexus 7.
Only one small issue. I'm waiting for Verizon to get my busted phone. After letting the device sit out for a few days my broken one started working just ran pretty warm and the battery drained super fast. But being that it got water damage And I have bad luck I'm afraid they will get it and pull some bull **** and charge me retain for the replacement I just got.
Has anyone ever had issues with replacement and returns with Verizon. The device is in mint condition it's not like it looks like it was nested looks nib just had small water damage. Idk I guess I'll find out this week sometime.

i thought about putting 8 on my notebook and read so many bad things about it without a touchscreen, plus win7 is damn near perfect IMO

I love Win8. I scooped another Pro Edition copy before they raised the price to unrealistic levels.
Resource management and prog running is excellent.

I wish android would have a full blown office suite on it. That plus a raspberry pi would make my life so much easier.

Try Kingsoft Office. It's free in the market and pretty functional.
Polaris office came on my TF700 and is just OK for casual document viewing but also a bit lacking.

Will do. Also try out baked bean for your tf700. So far I like of way better than CROMI. My tablet got horrendous battery life on that form some reason. Like 3 hours of screen time horrendous.

Not sure about text editing....but if you are looking to simply sign or add text to PDF versions of forms or docs (without having to print and rescan or fax), check out SIGNificant in the market place. Pretty cool. Unfortunately, not all mobile PDF viewers can see the results (QuickOffice Pro can but I have not found any other mobile PDF viewers that do). Anybody opening up the resulting PDF on a PC using Adobe shouldn't have an issue though.

I'll check it out. I still haven't made the switch to CROMI yet. I'm still on CROM 2.3 and it's been working great for me. At the moment, I have been using my tablet non-stop for the past 2 hours and just hit 70% battery life (the dock just kicked in to start charging it back up too). Battery life has never really been an issue for me with this tablet so far.

on CROMI I had a weird thing where wifi would use half the battery every time. Switched to BB and it went down to like 10% usage.

Cool, I'll take a look. A couple of my professors send the notes as pdf so it is annoying not being able to change them, but when they send word and stiff it is nice being able to change them

For those of you with the Galaxy S3, what ROMs are you liking?
I should be setting mine up tonight (coming from a Galaxy Nexus) and I'm torn as to whether I should try going with an AOSP themed TouchWiz ROM like beanstowns Jelly 'Beans' ROM or a full AOSP 4.2 ROM like Liquid (which I hears is one of the few 4.2 roms to have solved the A2DP issues).
Anyone have any feedback on these?

I've been on Beans 10 for a few days and have been really really liking it. I prefer the AOSP look and feel, but I really wanted the TW camera app so this worked out really nice! It has been very stable, more than the stock OTA of 4.1.1 even. I had a lot of bugs in that OTA. I can't comment on the Liquid Smooth since I've never tried it, but I've been very happy with Beans 10 so far.
