I went out there Saturday for the grand opening and it's an awesome field! The owner is a really cool guy and is very friendly. They are hoping to get a speedball field up soon too. I would highly recommend the field. Just go out there knowing that it is a new field so there will be hiccups.

Just the fact this is a new field makes me want to go. PBC doesn't really seem to maintain or clean their courses often it looks like. Thinking of heading there Sunday.

The complex is 25 acres. I don't remember what the paint was but it was pretty good paint. It was a medium grade paint though.

I'll be there for the PBC scenario...let's find out the Generals and form a horde! I think I'd like to drop by Mt. P the week after the ABP scenario, take some footage and do a write up on our blog.

So any reviews by people who obviously don't own the place? I want to find a better spot than PBC on saturdays.

Of course I've gone mad with power. You ever try going mad without power? It's boring. No one listens to you.

I played here last saterday, was only second weekend it was open. All fields were pretty crappy, bunkers very spaced out so you pretty much forced you to just stayed in one spot the majority of the game. I'd say out of the 3 fields I played only one was even functional that was field 1 but even that was prety bad, it was mostly ontop of large rock gravel. The storm of normady field although a cool concept (3 cargo pods that open off break and 2 large bunkers about 50 yards downfield with a small ditch in between a few bunkers on the cargo side and no bunkers going to the forts ) the team on the fort side was already laneing the cargo openings right off break getting out the majority.
However I told the owner my concerns and he seemed to take them in and said he's gonna make improvements every week it does have potential.
Also the owner plans to set up a speedball field in the next couple months, he's thinking about getting astro turf which I strongly encouraged because it would be the only AstroTurf field anywhere near charleston.
