Just found out work is going to make me work this coming Friday until 11 p.m.

I will be up there laaaaaate Friday and in a hotel room close-by so I can sleep as much as possible.

I can make it to the field at whatever time is needed!!

I meant to mention this earlier but for all tournaments I can get the team good rates. I work at one so I get an employee rate (as long as an affiliated hotel is nearby tournaments).

The only problem is I have to be there for the employee rate, but usually I can call ahead and tell them the other party is arriving first.... just because I have to present proof of employment in order to get the good rate.

Nontheless, it has worked out every other time I have helped friends out.... and usually I doubt I will be working up to 11pm the night before for tournaments that require a decent amount of traveling.

I cannot get like a huge block at that rate, but 2-4 rooms should not be a problem at all.

Let me know, I will look for hotels in the area that would be easy for you to get to.... coming from Nashville area correct?

If anyone else is interested in this let me know and I do not mind holding rooms on my card as long as they are paid for whenever we get there.

Country Inn and Suites. Any of those, Radisson, Park Inn, Park Plaza. From what I have seen so far it is mostly CIS around here.

Are we grabbing up a couple rooms? If so I can split one if you don't mind a quiet sleep apnea machine.

I'm considering cutting out of work a little early to get up there and walk the field if tapper will let us get to it. Hoping to get some time to look at lanes and such while its not so crowded.

Just got online to check rates/availability for hotels in Louisville and I am guessing there must be a basketball game that night/weekend because ALL employee rates are blocked (the managers will do that if they know they are going to sell all the rooms at a high rate). The rooms were like pushing $200 and that usually means there is some event in town that they know the rooms will sell regardless.

So I am looking around the surrounding areas to see if there is anything available close to the city but not actually in it. Would anyone still be interested in this? Unfortunately you all may have to come to the East side of Louisville, which would be some back tracking for everyone in Mid TN.....

I MIGHT be able to reserve you all a room with no problems at a location better for you all, it really just depends how much of a stickler the managers are at locations.

I will do some calling and keep everyone posted, let me know how you all feel about a room or two a little outside of the city.

whenever we used to go up to asylum for events we always stayed at the Jameson Inn thats about 15 min from the field, because they offered a deal with asylum.. i think the room was like 60 bucks so lets try there.

I hear that. The only reason I'm staying is so I can avoid a 4 hour drive in the morning. I'd have to be out of the house at 3am to get to the field at a decent time. SCREW THAT.

The only time I ever see that time of morning is if there are deer or ducks scheduled to be shot at that day, or I haven't been to sleep yet.

Georgetown was the closest hotel I could find that would be in my route...

131 Darby Drive, Georgetown, KY 40324 if you wanna see where it is. Looks like about 90 miles East of Asylum right above Lexington.

If we can find something at a pretty reasonable price, like the 60ish range, it might make more sense to stay closer to Louisville and just pay an extra 20-30.

If you all are okay with this location let me know, I will reserve a few rooms.

Remember, tax and all these would be roughly $49.00

I miiiiiight stay here regardless of other decisions, just so I don't have to make the full ride starting 11pm after school and work the whole day to Louisville.
