Halo B will not change speed

Just bought a used Halo B. Never had one before, so I looked up an owners manual online to find out how to change the rotor speed. No matter how long I hold down the power button, nothing happens. The manual says it should start blinking and each initial press after that will change the settings.

Also, the led is blinking red (not alternating red/green like its broken), but I figured this is probably because there is no paint in the hopper?

Which board do you have and which board manual are you looking up?

I would say its blinking red because of low batteries. Try replacing them

I'm not sure how to tell which board is in it. This is actually that red one I just got from you pynis, lol. (don't worry, I'm happy with it and I'm sure there's something simple going on here)

This is the manual I was looking at:
http://www.paintballsolutions.com/pd...v35_manual.pdf

I'll try new batteries tomorrow, I just put new batteries in it, but I have been messing with it a bit since then. I took it apart, all the wires look ok. I'll replace the batteries, if that doesn't work I might try replacing the motor.

Edit: just realized on the PDF it says only the v35 is adjustable, lol. So I'm sure the redlight blinking thing is something simple.
