Got to look at an FRS up close and sit in it today. I have to say, I'm very impressed. Pictures look good, but in person it is ****ing amazing looking.

My man! Test drove one today. I REALLY think I may get one. I loved driving it. Wasn't crazy about the materials used on the interior. Might just have to spring for some Brides.. But I really wanted to keep my next car stock haha Wishful thinking!

Goddamn it is gorgeous.
I haven't test driven one yet but I want to. I also want to buy one
For now I think I will keep the Supra. If I change my mind it will get sold and I might see if I can afford an FRS.

It really is an amazing car. I kind of have been debating picking up a new DD and I had test driven the Focus ST yesterday and decided I should look at all the cars in the price range.
I've watched so many FRS reviews and they all said (even compared to other super cars the reviewers have previously driven) that it is a blast to drive, and I really must agree. It is so much fun to push this car, and it's a handling God. Get out there and drive it, you will love it!
I was impressed too; around town, driving nicely, I got in the area of 34-36 MPG! Mind blown.

Here's mine:
It really is an extraordinary handling machine in stock form. Power is a little low but still very usable.

i'm pretty interested on seeing who's selling suspension parts for them. i see a lot of shops are fabbing up their own poly bushings, control arms, etc. but i'm curious if anybody is actually selling the parts...

I know that mostly everyone is going with whiteline bushings as they were the first out of the gate and they got very favorable reviews. As for the other ones I think once we start seeing people getting sponsored by those shops and more reviews are published we will know who is buying what.
As far as control arms Cusco was first out of the gate followed by a couple of other companies. I've seen them on a few cars and my friend has a set on his FR-S. The thing with the control arms is that the cost is either too much for people or they will put them off until later date when prices go down or used units hit the market.

I'm trying to tell, are you running factory suspension or is it lowered (it looks lowered to me)? If so, specs? I'd also love to hear wheel and tire specs on your set up. Anything else you have done to it? Any experience shoving people in that back that you could share with us? I wish the seats were about 4 inches further back in the rear.

The back seat seems pretty tiny, when I rode in one the back didn't look very roomy. But its a pretty small car and i'd rather it be there than not.
the front however was incredibly comfortable

Liked the FrS a lot!! Unfortunately it's too small. Being 6'5 my choice in cars is/are limited. Currently driving a 2010 Accord Coupe which I am perfectly content with. It's no speed racer, but it gets me from A to B while all the while looking classy.
Side note. As far as back seat space goes for the most part the Asian car maker's two door's back seat space is smaller than say a Camaro's or a Mustang's.

It's lowered 1" on Hotchkis springs (rates 3.3f/4.7r).
Wheel and tires are:
SSR Type C 18x8 +32 w/Dunlop Direzza DZ101 225/40 all around.
As far as other mods I have a Cusco front strut bar w/master cylinder brace, HKS premium suction intake (pipe replacement). Waiting for more exhaust options to come out in single tip variety. 5:AD spoiler, and beat sonic shark fin antenna.
As far as fitting more people in the back. Im 6'1" so my seat is all the way in the back position. I've been able to fit my girlfriend 5'3" and my friend who is 5'5" in the other two seats. I had her sit in the front and me in the back. It's not too bad back there if its a quick trip but I would hate sitting back there for any trip over an hour.

Haha me? I weigh 235. Yea a bit heavy set :/
The Accord coupe gives me tons of room. I'm actually comfortable in it
I'm considering moving away from Asian car makers due to the size/room in the car is relatively small or I'm just flipping huge.
Not going to lie though when I finally got myself into the FRS it was a dream to drive :3

I like your mod list. Don't go single exhaust though please duals are where it's at. I dislike when people have changed to singles on the Z. Car looks very nice! I would want to try and keep mine stock, but that will be very difficult to do. I originally thought I'd keep my Z stock, and well, ya...

I should post this in the American FWD thread, but I've also been looking at the Focus ST don't shun me please. I'll still have the Z either way.

Well I haven't decided on the exhaust, yet. I just want to see what else comes out before I get an exhaust and then end up wanting something else soon after. Right now I'm leaning towards either HKS or Fujitsubo.

I'm in such a dilemma. Sell the Supra and lease a new/buy a newish car or keep it.
