The difference between the ego 11 and the new ego is the same difference from the 05/06 lineup to the 07 ego.

It'll be worth the money, unlike the 11.

In my opinion, that would put the ego on par with the other highends out right now, not the new ones coming out. I.e. new dye, cyborg, victory, vanquish, etc.

We'll see though. I've shot as many egos as I have intimidators, so I'll be testing it for sure.

I just wanna point out, again, that Planet has said they will not release a new marker unless there is a significant technological/design update. They're not gonna be taking stuff that other manufacturers have tried already. I'd bet you any amount of money there will be at least one MAJOR design improvement whether it be internal, external, or both.

Remember we're talking Planet Eclipse. These guys have their own bar set pretty high and know how high the others' are as well. They'll release a gun that will be a game changer, I guarantee it.

Well they've had about a year and a half since they released something. So thinking to keep up with others they better step up. I do like Eclipse and yes they used to set the bar high. But with some of the other guns coming out thier name can only carry so long before other nice markers come out. Like KEE releasing the Impulse. That is pretty much a hoseless EGO and thinking the price on that will be in the $900 range possibly.

Has anyone thought it may be a tactical version of the ego? Dye did it and so did companies. Just a thought.
The ego as a marker can't get any better than the 11 (or "S" as it's called) is when you put the D.A.R.T. kit in it. Yes you can make it shoot 20 pods (who shoots that much in a game) or you can make it so quiet that you can't hear it (why that matters, it's quiet enough). All in all it is the best out there. So I guess tactical!!!!!
