Trigger guard sharp edge
Can any one explain my the guard around my trigger frame is sharp and constantly cuts me? I shot Matt sossomans today and obviously his is new but his trigger guard was rounded over. Is anyone else's like this? Picture maybe and I'll post mine?

Mine are smooth, but you could always take some sand paper and sand it down if you don't care about the anno.

I'd contact kee first...........I'm sure they'll be more than helpful.
Or wrap some hockey tape around it.

At this point I rly don't care about the anno. I'm just pissed its so damn sharp. I don't understand why I got stuck with this. It has caused me to profusely bleed multiple times on the field.

At this point I may. I shouldn't have to wrap tape around it.

I might. It had me bleeding on my finger today. And when I used sossomans axe it was smooth which I found weird. I thought all axe players got cut by their markers (pun intended)

SUE THEM!!! Okay, now I got that out of the way, I really think Empire might help you if the finish of their gun is drawing blood from you on a regular basic. It wouldn't surprise me if a batch got out without rounded edges, or if early model Axes were just all like that.

the screw at the top of the frame inside the trigger guard cuts me sometimes when I switch hands. I wish they were recessed flat-headed screws.

Solved by contacting customer service. Awesome. Getting I replaced. Must've been a known manufacturing error if they are replacing it.
You can actually see a line on the trigger guard where the bevel edge was suppose to be. It was kinda weird.
Empire customer service strikes again!

Regardless of what the problem is, KEE will replace anything for you with no hesitation. This is the first time i've heard of an Axe's trigger frame being too sharp to the point of cutting.
And this is just for the sake of curiosity, but do you have any pictures?

It's really hard to show sharpness. Not sure if it shows up in this picture but in my original copy you can see almost what seems to be a machinist mark where the bevel was suppose to be made. The axe I held this weekend was much more comfy cause I didn't notice it being "sharp".
It would be easier to noticed if I had a regular beveled frame and compare it to this one. But the Tech guy said hopefully "this replacement frame won't be as sharp". So maybe it really could've been a quality control error.
EDIT: Added an arrow if you haen't refreshed the page.

The bottom edge of my guard is sharp on both of my axes - where the guard meets the rubber grips. Wicked uncomfortable. Only thing I don't like about the axe.

It's really weird but if you look in the photo you can see some sort of machinist mark. The one I saw last weekend was brand new straight from Empire.
