Recommended pressure for the demon is about 550 psi so just take a few out to make it more of a mid pressure setup.

I know what he means. My older ninja tank only has the two red shims not what u posted. Go to this site. http://www.ninjapaintball.com/docume...s%20Manual.pdf
I took out the 2 red shims that would bring it to 500 psi. and added a silver one to bring it up a little

prolly. do u have a reg tester. 500 should work fine. if u remove one the psi should be about 650. that might be better but im not a Vanguard tech. in fact i dont even have mine yet. (will on friday) LOL I was actually going through this same situation. if u live by any shops u can probably get a rebuild kit for under 10 bucks. that will have the silver ones. if u wanna mess with it. but 500 like i said should work. i dont think u will notice a difference in 50 psi. plus i heard people running on lower. just 550 is what is recomended

You heard right. Im using an old ambush fuku reg that cimpletely broken in with the pressure at 350psi and my demon runs fine at 270-285 fps. Im actually getting a good consistency over the chrono too.

Slightly easier on the internal routing seals and reg seals so it might prolong having to do rebuilds. Depending on the quality of the reg (never actually used 850 on a Demon so no experience), you'll get better shot to shot consistency as far as velocity.
