It does not matter if you are a new player or a professional, You CANNOT go wrong with an Empire Axe. They are very good quality, very reliable and very simple to maintain. They are also available for a great price. My local field was selling them for $350 new, which is a complete steal. Hope I helped and GL finding a marker!

What is the difference in these and the mini? Looks about the same and shoots like one to. Seems to me like the same thing just cost more.

On average NPPL and semi players can satisfy their girlfriends and wives much better than PSP and ramping players :)

axe is a little longer
runs at a slightly lower pressure
comes with on/off asa,reg.
believe the trigger uses a microswitch where the mini uses a hall effect sensor.

by no means do i think there is anything wrong with a mini, I just felt it was too short for my liking.

this. just buy used and let them show you that it works or at the very least dry fires. also ask them to show you the bolt assembly for any extraneous wear and what not. i think one more difference, albeit a small one, that others have forgot to mention between the mini and axe is the axe has a tool-less bolt removal.

The Axe is a great gun for the price. If you get one get the boss pro bolt either XSV or Infamous for $35 because it will make it really smooth and even quieter. I run with my pressure at 140 instead of 200 because of the boss pro bolt which also makes the Axe even more efficient.
