Hey guys! Picked up my first Dye Matrix off of one our forum-mates here. She's a DM9 (Claret). I'm wicked excited to take her to a field and get to work.

This is my first marker in years, First with an LPR as well as I originally only had a Proto SLG UL.

What do you guys recommend I do before taking it for a spin? Take apart anything? It has a virtue board but I'm pretty sure that thing is set perfectly anyway.

I would just take the bolt apart, and put a fresh coat of lube on it before you use it. Make sure you dont overlube the marker because all excess lube will just end up going down the barrel.

Where are you from? Playing in the cold?

I'm from Boston and I'll only be playing in doors at Boston Paintball for example. I just took her apart, relubed the bolt and lpr. Haven't touched the hpr yet but I will before I play.

First thing to do is read the tech stickies to learn how the guns works, and how to set it up/lube it. Then have fun.
